EMERGENCY CLINIC


Since 1st December 2001 all out of hours calls have been handled by an central emergency clinic based in Shamrock Street, Glasgow. This Clinic is staffed by full time Vets and qualified Vet Nurses from 6 p.m. to 9 a.m. weekdays and from 12 noon Saturday until Monday morning. This means your pet gets the highest level of specialist emergency care when they need it most.

Vet Now can be contacted by phoning the Avalon Veterinary Clinic on 0141 956 4234 and listening to the recorded message or phone directly on 0141 332 3212. The nurse or receptionist at Vets Now will then be able to make arrangements for treating your pet. Please note that Vets Now is only manned at nights and weekends, emergencies during normal surgery hours will still be seen at the Avalon Veterinary Clinic as before.
