FAB CAT FRIENDLY PRACTICE AWARD

Thanks to everyone who nominated us for the Feline Advisory Bureau cat friendly practice award. We passed through the presentation stage and were short listed for the UK finals. The judges visited the practice at the start of August and said they were impressed with our facilities and the protocols we follow. Anna and Michele travelled down to the award ceremony in London in the middle of November. We were delighted to receive a Silver award, one of only two practices in Scotland to achieve that level. In addition the judges awarded Anna with a “Cat Oscar” for her “catittude” , one of only three vets in the UK to be recognised for their individual contribution to cat friendly practice. Anna’s Oscar is on display on the desk at reception .

The judges were particularly impressed by the attitude of all the staff at the clinic. Clearly, they all cared passionately about their feline patients and were motivated to continually improve the standard of feline care they offered.
