Hi, my name is Lana Barclay and I am a qualified Veterinary Nurse. I qualified in January 2003. I am also a qualified A1 assessor, meaning I help to train student VNs.

I started at Avalon vet clinic in July 2009, I am only part time as I am now the proud mum to my little girl Ella Josie who was born in September 2008.

I particularly enjoy medical cases, and in patients needed constant care, (especially when they need lots of TLC!). I love nursing clinics and chatting to the clients whilst helping them with their pets.

At home, We have 2 cats, Popeye is a 12 year old tabby who is hyperthyroid, loves food, is very lazy and loves a cuddle. We also have Tai, who is a 6 year old black and white tiny girl with has heart disease, she is mostly outdoor, and loves to bring live mice into the house and then set them free for me to catch, (my husband is too scared!)

In my spare time, I love shopping, shopping and shopping, not much more to say!
