AT THE SURGERY

a phone number where you can be contacted during the day in case

COLLECTION
It is
usually possible for your pet to return home the same day as his/her
procedure is carried out. Normally you will be asked to phone
the surgery between 2 & 3 pm to arrange a time for collection.
We expect that pets that have had routine surgeries will be collected
between 4 pm and 5 pm. Pets that have had more major operations
or whose after care needs to be discussed with the vet will normally
be ready for collection between 4 pm and 6 pm.
THE JOURNEY HOME
Wherever
possible it is advisable to arrange private transport for your
pet, even if you only live a short distance away. A secure box
or pet carrier MUST be provided for cats & small mammals.
Dogs should be on a lead and you may find a old blanket or sheet
useful for the back seat of the car.
Aftercare
will be discussed when you come to collect your pet.
