It is practice policy that all prescriptions are checked by a veterinary surgeon prior to being dispensed. This is both for your pets safety and in accordance with dispensing laws.
To enable sufficient time for this to be carried out, we request that orders for repeat prescriptions are placed before 11am, for collection after 3pm the same day. Orders placed after 11am may be collected after 3pm the following day.
This allows the veterinary surgeon sufficient time to check the patient’s history and to authorise the drug being dispensed. Ideally, phoning several days in advance gives you more time for collection without the worry of running out of your medication completely.
